The sand dunes provide excellent protection from the wind, making Moss Landing State Beach an ideal picnic spot.

Be sure to walk to one of the local restaurants for great food and drinks with a stunning view of the harbor and wildlife. You can also launch your kayak from the peninsula and explore the harbor area. As the afternoon melts into evening, lay a blanket out in the sand and get ready for an unforgettable sunset. When the day is done come back to The Inn at Moss Landing Point to sleep and dream of more Monterey Bay explorations.
